Quality

Due to the handmade nature of our product each piece is full of character. All of our products are made from .925 sterling and fine silver with other precious metal accents like gold, copper, or brass. All of the stones are genuine unless stated otherwise and may contain deposits of minerals including quartz, pyrite, or calcite. Because each stone is genuine, they are delicate. Avoid dropping your stones as they can fracture or crack. The Turquoise Vet accepts no liability for broken stones.

Care

Sterling silver will naturally tarnish over time. If you wish to remove the patina/tarnish a polishing cloth will achieve this goal. Please do not use solvent, jewelry cleaners, or steam cleaners as these may damage your jewelry.

Do not get your jewelry wet. Remove rings before washing your hands. Applying hand sanitizer or lotion with your piece on is not recommended as well. Some Native American artists use sawdust to set their stones. When the sawdust becomes wet, it can expand and cause damage to the piece. Avoid exposing your jewelry to heat or chemicals like ammonia, chlorine, and most household cleaning products. From personal experience to those within the show sheep industry, solutions including Sulfur Lime Dip can immediately damage your piece so it is important to remove all jewelry prior to exposure and utilization of the chemical.

Sizing

Customer sizing error returns will not be accepted. If you are not sure of your size, we recommend that you have your finger sized by a jeweler prior to purchase.
